Hi,
I’m Melissa and I am an architectural designer turned UX/UI designer.

With over six years of design experience, I began my career as an interior designer and evolved toward a specialization in purposeful design. I received my masters in advanced interaction in 2017, a design research degree focused on data informed designs. After my masters, I worked 2 years as an interior designer, but I craved a job that was more in lieu with my masters. Over the last four years, I completed a UX design certification and found myself pivoting my career at the start of a global pandemic. Today, you can find me at my home office in Chicago, working on freelance projects with my dog Teddy.
